Every Single Day.
Another day. Walking down the hall hoping nobody notices me or bumbs into me. I still look for you. Every single day of this same routine. I walk slowly so that maybe our paths will cross. I see you. My heart starts to hurt and slowly beat, my hands go numb. Our eyes meet. I know that you feel the same way, but nothing can be done. We share quick nervous words, a half hug that feels like home....
